May 9th/10th/11th we went to Boonville. On Friday we went to Nat's house and pitched tents in his yard. Saturday was the legendary Boonville Beer Fest. Sunday we went out to a spot on the Navarro river for the 5th (or arguably 6th) annual Crouching Beaver Pizza Invitational. Basically a traditional pizza making contest that usually involves a wood-fired oven in Elk, CA, but this year involved the creative use of some BBQs.
